To pick a juice-filled fruit, choose a citrus fruit that is heavy for its size. Avoid bruised, puffy or soft-skinned fruit.
How to store
Since they stop ripening when picked, citrus fruit have the advantage of keeping longer. You can store them in the fridge for about a week, except for oranges, which can be stored for up to one month!
How to prepare
In addition to being filling and rich in nutrients, citrus fruit are versatile, refreshing, and tasty. Their fragrant flavour allows you to prepare them in a number of ways using their juice, zest or flesh in delicious sweet or savory dishes, drinks, or simply to enhance flavours.
