- bone-in chicken thighs
- BBQ dry rub
- 1/3 cup
- brown sugar
- 80 ml
- 3 tbsp.
- paprika

- 3 tbsp.
- chili powder
- 45 ml
- 2 tbsp.
- hot pepper flakes
- 30 ml
- 1 tbsp.
- salt
- 30 ml
- 1 tsp.
- garlic powder
- 10 ml
- 1 tsp.
- onion powder
- 10 ml
Directions

- Dry rub
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and coat the chicken thighs well. Refrigerate for three hours.
- Step 2
- Grilling: Preheat the BBQ to high heat and oil the grill. Place the chicken thighs in the centre of the grill and turn on only the burners on either side of the meat. Cook for about 45 minutes over indirect heat, turning the thighs regularly.

Oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the thighs on a baking sheet lined with a sheet of parchment paper and bake for about 45 minutes.

Note: Serve with traditional coleslaw or baby potatoes en papillote.
