Ingredients
- Skewered honey and cinnamon fruit

- Apple, cut into large cubes

- Bosc pears, cut into large cubes

- Cantaloup, peeled and cut into large cubes

- Honey
- 60 ml
- 1 tsp.
- Cinnamon
- 5 ml
- Zest and juice of ½ lemon
- Honey and lemon whipped cream
- 1 cup
- 35% cream
- 250 ml
- 1/2 cup
- Plain Greek yogurt
- 125 ml
- 3 tbsp.
- Honey*
- 45 ml
- 1 tsp.
- Vanilla extract
- 5 ml
- Zest of 1/2 lemon
- Steel skewers or small wooden skewers dipped 30 minutes in water
Directions
- Step 1
- Fruit skewers: Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Let the fruits marinate in the fridge if desired, for a maximum of 3 hours. Skewer the fruits.
- Step 2
- Transfer the marinade into a small pot and simmer until the liquid is syrupy, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Step 3
- Preheat the BBQ to medium-high and cook the fruit 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until the fruits have markings.
- Step 4
- Honey lemon cream: Using an electric mixer, mix the cream, honey, and vanilla together in a bowl. Incorporate the lemon zest and the yogurt with a spatula. Refrigerate.
- Step 5
- When serving, garnish the skewered fruit with a scoop of honey lemon cream and drizzle marinade over top.
Tips
You can replace the honey with maple syrup, sugar, or brown sugar.
